Agricultural Communications

What is Agricultural Communications?

Our College of Agricultural, Consumer, and Environmental Sciences and College of Media work together to offer this joint, interdisciplinary program, which is unlike any other in the country. Agricultural Communications fuses an education in communications (including journalism, advertising, marketing, and multimedia) and food and environmental systems to prepare you to navigate and communicate complex issues in food, agriculture, and the environment. You’ll also earn a Food and Environmental Systems minor that will allow you the technical knowledge to report on food, agriculture, energy, and the environment. In this major, you’ll choose between two concentrations: Advertising or Journalism.
