What is Public Health?

The degree in Public Health prepares students to become leaders in public health, equipped with the knowledge and skills to make a significant impact on population health both locally and globally. Our program addresses the most pressing health challenges of our time. Students choose one of four concentrations to complement the core curriculum:

  • Community Health Practice
  • Epidemiology
  • Health Education & Promotion
  • Health Administration and Policy

Students are prepared for diverse careers within the public health sector, including roles as health educators, outreach coordinators, healthcare administrators, health policy analysts, health program managers, epidemiologists, community health coordinator, emergency response coordinators, and preparedness and compliance specialists.
