What is Finance + Data Science?

The finance profession has a strong affinity for data science. It has a strong quantitative orientation and uses evidence-based approach to decision-making.

By combining training finance fundamentals with a data science component, you'll prepare for current issues in the field. This degree will also anticipate opportunities for the future and help you develop into a leader in the finance community.

First-year students need to apply to Business Undeclared for admission consideration to Gies. They then can pursue the Finance + Data Science degree if admitted. Off-campus transfer students cannot directly apply into this program.
