What is Operations Management?

This field focuses on crafting new ways to deliver a firm’s goods and services. In our program, you’ll study the productive management of capital. You'll also learn about human and information resources as well as the process of value creation. Coursework will devote particular attention to defining business goals. Students will then learn how to achieve these goals by designing management policies.

First-year students need to apply to Business Undeclared for admission consideration to Gies. They then can pursue the Operations Management degree if admitted.
