What is Dance, BA and Kinesiology, BS (Dual Degree Program)?

This dual degrees pathway is for motivated students who wish to earn two bachelor's degrees: a BA in Dance and a BS in Kinesiology. It requires 158 university credits. You'll study how the body moves with in-depth Kinesiology courses in:

  • human movement
  • bioenergetics
  • biomechanics
  • motor development

You'll also study three core areas of dance:

  • physical practice
  • creative process
  • dance theory

You're encouraged to dance and perform as much or as little as you want. Your senior thesis project will combine dance and kinesiology.

K-12 Teaching Licensure/Certification in Physical Education with an Endorsement in Dance and Yoga Certification are also available.
