What is Engineering Undeclared?

If you're interested in the field of engineering but need more time to decide on a major, this program is for you. As an Engineering Undeclared student, you'll have a chance to explore your major options while studying in The Grainger College of Engineering. During your first year, you'll work with advisors to find the major that best fits your career goals. 

You'll choose a first- and second-choice major in February of your first year. By April, you'll have a selected major. Please note that as an Engineering Undeclared student, you can choose any major within Grainger Engineering except for Computer Science, Computer Science and Bioengineering, or Computer Science and Physics.
