This major provides students with a strong foundation in Computer Science coupled with advanced coursework in Statistics. Students gain a fundamental understanding of statistical analysis, probability, mathematics, computing, and computer science. In this major, you will have opportunities to work closely with faculty on research. You'll also have the chance to gain hands-on experience through consulting and internships. Our program will prepare you for professional or graduate work in Statistics and Computer Science. You will also be prepared for applications of Computer Science involving Statistics.
