In this major, you’ll have the opportunity to explore Latin America, learning about the area through in-depth, integrative coursework that spans across multiple perspectives—anthropological and geographical, ecological and environmental, historical, humanistic, and social, political, and economic. In addition to gaining command of a Latin American language like Spanish, Portuguese, Quechua, or another Native American language indigenous to Middle or South America, you’ll develop critical thinking, research, and writing skills.
