What is Teacher Education: Spanish (K-12)?

This program will prepare you to teach Spanish in grades kindergarten through 12 in Illinois public schools. As part of your curriculum, you’ll also be encouraged to study abroad in a country that speaks Spanish. If you’re interested in this program, you’ll apply to the Spanish major. Once you’ve completed most of your major requirements, you’ll apply into the Teacher Education program. This is usually by the end of your sophomore year.
