What is Hospitality Management?

A concentration within our Food Science and Human Nutrition major, Hospitality Management combines complex business principles with biological and social sciences to lead to careers in the hospitality industry. Classes will teach you basic marketing and business skills, how to analyze employee performance, and how to plan, produce, and serve meals in a safe and efficient manner. You’ll also learn how to properly manage institutional, commercial, catering and fine dining facilities and other aspects related to managing a successful business, developing your skills through real-world management experience at our very own Bevier Café and Spice Box. You can apply directly into this concentration.
