Dietetics is a concentration within our Food Science and Human Nutrition major. The science of applying food to nutrition and health, Dietetics is a vital, growing field that addresses today’s complex nutrition and health issues. Your classes will teach you about the human body, psychology, food production and sanitation, nutrition, and health care, giving you a solid foundation to build from and provide plans for high-quality food and nutrition. Our accredited program will allow you to enter dietetic internships and graduate programs in order to become a registered dietitian. You can apply directly into this concentration.
