What is Agricultural Leadership Education?

This concentration within our Agricultural Leadership and Science Education major prepares you for educational leadership, training, and outreach positions in agricultural, extension, community, and governmental agencies. The curriculum provides you the flexibility to specialize in a chosen area of agriculture. Working closely with faculty, your coursework will focus on designing educational and training programs, making professional presentations, leadership development, teaching and training methods, and interpersonal communications. You’ll also gain hands-on experience through a 10-week internship with an agriculture business or agency. You can apply directly into this concentration.
