Applicants who have completed more than 6 semesters or 80 hours of coursework are subject to an additional review. Priority is given to students who can complete degree requirements within a total of ten semesters in college, including terms completed at other institutions.

The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences requires completion through the fourth level of one language other than English, either in high school or college, to graduate from the college; however, it is strongly recommended that transfer applicants complete this graduation requirement prior to the term of enrollment at the University of Illinois.

Applicants must earn a minimum grade of B in each transfer mathematics course completed.
