What is Engineering Undeclared?

If you're interested in the field of engineering but need more time to decide on a major, this program is for you. As an Engineering Undeclared student, you'll have a chance to explore your major options during your first two years while studying in The Grainger College of Engineering.

You'll select three majors of interest in your first year while working with dedicated Engineering Undeclared advisors to ensure these majors best fit your career goals. You can apply to your major of interest as early as your second semester and as late as your fourth. Please note that as an Engineering Undeclared student, you can choose any major within Grainger Engineering except for Computer Science.
